The Trash Collecting Robot is our solution!

The TC Robots are specialized robots designed to do a few simple tasks; collect trash, and dispose of their collected trash at designated dump sites. They will be programmed using Python, and an will have a series of sensors. The sensors it will have are: sight, distance, movement (contact, tilt, pressure, GPS, acceleration), temperature, light, sound, gyroscope, current, and a trash sensor. All of these sensors will aid in helping the robot efficiently move around the city with respect to its surroundings. They will have four wheels for movement, and can move on terrain like grass, cement, roads, streets, sidewalks, and small rocks. It can handle extreme rain and muddy conditions through the use of Omni wheels that will provide more friction between the ground and the robot. They will work in swarms, working in shifts. Some will work from midnight until 7 AM, 7 AM until 1 PM, from 1 PM to 8 PM, and from 8 PM to midnight, and the cycle repeats.

There will be different robots to carry regular trash and recyclables. One robots costs approximately $1,472 USD. They will be three feet tall by two feet wide.

Initially, 20 robots will be made, totaling around $29,440 USD. They will function in swarms. People cannot purchase their own, as they will be purchased through the government by the manufacturer.
